About Us

To be non-conforming is to not let the world dictate how you dress, think, or live your life. It is to go against the mob, live by your own rules, be yourself. Normal is boring, popular is overrated, worldly is suboptimal. No, non-conforming is not a lifestyle, a new paradigm, nor a way of thinking. That's all marketing BS. We are just a streetwear fashion label, but a damn good one!

Founded in Sydney, Australia in November 2019, and launched in the real world on the 12th of February of 2020, non-conforming was created with the mission of making high-quality, locally sourced and made streetwear that is as unique as possible, is well designed, and carries a positive message.

Our core values can be summarised as follows:

  1. High quality: we want our clothes to be worn – a lot – and to last for a long time. That's why we source our blank garments from a high-quality Australian supplier, and do all the printing and finishing in our own studio in Australia. When we ship products to our customers, we want to make sure they are the best they can be.
  2. Locally sourced and made: while our blank garments are not made in Australia (yet), we source them from an Australian supplier. We also use Australian made screen printing inks, and print and finish all our garments locally in our studio, in Australia.
  3. Unique: just as we are all created equal and also unique, we aim to make our products as unique as possible, and produced in strictly limited quantities (once a style is sold out, that is it, forever). Check the description of each product to learn in which way each item is unique. Your product also has a label with a serial number and a key that you can use to check its authenticity, production date, and see some photos taken before it is packed and shipped, on this website: https://non---conforming.com/auth/
  4. Well designed: we work really hard to release products that are well designed (you hopefully agree with us here), and are constantly thinking about what to make next.
  5. Positive message: our clothes are not books, they don't need to say much, but when they do we want their message to be positive and uplifting.

We hope you enjoy or stuff as much as we do, and we look forward to bringing even better products to you as we grow as a company.
